Keeping with my theme of meal planning, we’re onto lunches. My dad will tell you that he loved to watch me make my lunches when I was living with them. I had a process and I’d get excited making a healthy salad or whatever it was I was making. It’s my thing…I bring my lunch more often than not. I feel that it’s better for me for a few reasons: 1. I know exactly what is going into my body and 2: it saves me money…lunches are not cheap especially if you work in the city!
The video below goes into my typical lunches that I bring,what I do when I go out with clients or co-workers, and how I make healthier choices when I’m out (or at lease try to).

I’m with you. I always pack my own lunch when I am teaching. Unfortunately school lunch (where I teach) is not very healthy.
Isn’t that funny, school lunches are not healthy! Did you ever watch Food Revolution (I think that’s what is was called)? That’s where we need the healthiest foods!

Your videos are excellent! Very conversational. I really need to prepare and plan ahead better. I eat out for lunch a lot. Usually salads too, but I’m sure I’m paying too much. Just wasting money.
I always pack my lunch too. Well my wife usually packs it. Usually a salad or Shakeology and some healthy snacks(celery or carrots and hummus). Great tips and post.
